Jackfruit Jam

IngredientsJackfruit(Ripe) - 15 cloves
Sugar – ½ KG
Water for preparing sugar syrup – 2 cups

Lemon - 1/2
MethodCut the jackfruit into thin slices and keep it aside. Prepare the sugar syrup (slightly think). Add the jackfruit slices to the hot sugar syrup. Once the jam becomes cold, add the lemon juice and store it in a glass box. You can consume this for next 15 days without storing in the fridge.

Ingredients
Whole lemon – 4
Bengal gram Dal – 2 spoons
Urad Dal – 2 spoons
Methi – 1 spoon
Jeera – ¼ spoon
Sesame – ¼ spoon
Grated coconut – ½ cup
Grated Jaggry – 3 spoons
Salt to taste

Method
Pour 2 cups of water into a vessel. Add the whole lemon into it. Cook this for 15 minutes. Keep it aside to cool down. Cut the cooked lemon and remove seeds and the hard thin line which is in the center. Fry Bengal gram Dal, urad dal, methi, jeera and sesame seeds. Grind all the ingredients along with water. Cook the grinded mix for 5 minutes. It tastes excellent. Try this out.

Sesame Juice and Ragi Juice

Ingredients
Sesame/Ragi (Whichever you like) - 100 Gm
Grated Jaggery - 100 gm


Method
Soak sesame/ragi seeds in water for 10 minutes. Grind this in mixer.
After the seeds are grinded properly, add the jaggery and grind it properly. Add required quantity of water while grinding.
Filter the grinded ingredients using tea filter. Its tastes excellent. Ragi and sesame are very rich in calcium.
In the same way we can prepare green gram juice as well.
