Rice Semia

Rice – 2 cups
Soak the rice in water for 3 hours. Grind the rice along with water. Cook the batter on a tawa by stirring it consistently. When it becomes thick make it big round balls and cook in steam for 20 mins. When the rice balls are hot, put one by one into Semia machine and prepare the semia.
You can prepare semia chitranna or you can eat just with coconut oil and pickle.

Tambittu

Ingredients
Rice – 1KG
Jaggry – 500Gm
Grated dry coconut – 5 spoons
Cardamon – 2 spoons
Sesame seeds – 4 spoons

Method
Soak the rice in water for 2 hours. Filter out the water and powder the rice. Prepare the jaggry syrup (noolu paka) along with cardamon powder and sesame seeds and grated dry coconut. Pour the syrup on to rice powder and mix it swell. Prepare round shaped unde.
